Salman Khan Exposed: The School Fees Story

The Salman Khan Exposed story is trending after his recent appearance on Kajol and Twinkle Khanna’s talk show. Salman shocked audiences by saying that in 4th class, he was expelled from school because his father couldn’t pay his fees. Fans connected with the emotional narrative, but when facts and older statements were checked, contradictions appeared.

Salman’s Claim About Fees

On Amazon Prime’s show, Salman Khan told Aamir Khan and the hosts that he was removed from school for not paying fees. This became big news because it showed the superstar’s struggle like a middle-class child. However, when the timeline is matched with history, the story raises serious doubts.

Timeline and Reality Check

Salman Khan was born in 1965. By 1975–76, he was in 4th class. During that exact period, his father Salim Khan, along with Javed Akhtar, was ruling Bollywood with blockbuster scripts. Haathi Mere Saathi (1971), Seeta Aur Geeta (1972), Zanjeer (1973), Deewaar (1975), and Sholay (1975) made them the highest-paid writers.

Reports confirm that Salim–Javed earned ₹3 lakh for Deewaar alone, while Amitabh Bachchan got ₹1.5 lakh for acting. At the time, even the costliest schools charged only ₹50 per month. So how could fees be unaffordable?

Contradiction: Sonali Bendre’s Story

A few years ago, actress Sonali Bendre shared a heartwarming story about Salman’s childhood in an interview. According to her, when Salman was 10 years old and studying at St. Stanislaus School, Bandra, the school priest asked students to feed poor children.

Sonali revealed that while other kids took one child home, Salman asked how many children needed help. When told there were 10–12, he took all of them home and fed them daily until their schooling was complete.

This shows that at the same age—when Salman claims his family couldn’t even pay school fees—he was generous enough to feed 10–12 children every single day. (YouTube)

Salman Khan Exposed?

Now the big question arises: if Sonali’s account is true, how could Salman’s family struggle to pay basic school fees? Either:

  1. The School Fees Story is False – It might have been created to make Salman look more relatable.
  2. The Feeding Story is Exaggerated – Even though Sonali called Salman kind-hearted, it could have been more symbolic than literal.

Whatever the case, the contradictions make fans question his narrative.

Public Reaction

Fans on social media are divided. Some believe Salman Khan’s school fees story was just an emotional PR line to connect with the audience. Others defend him, saying both stories could be true in different contexts. But with such conflicting claims, the Salman Khan Exposed debate refuses to die down.
